The X-Series was born in the Fall of 2000 by a group of "extreme" anglers, who enjoyed fishing and competition. While some of them occasionally fished the 'big' name tournaments when they were in the area, ALL of them dreamed about a bigger and better locally based tournament circuit that would offer high payouts and prizes - while attracting the best anglers in the area.

Welcome to The 2009 X-Series! This is the dream of those anglers that they made a reality....now going strong into our 8th year. Prize money has increased, plus more sponsor gifts and prizes - all geared toward the weekend fishing person and tournament angler alike.

This year our anglers will benefit from our experiences through our last 8 years as we invest it into 2009, and continue to make The X-Series better in every way. Not only for our anglers, but for our sponsors and everyone else who makes the X-Series what it has become. The excitement heading into 2009 is overwhelming - and we'll do our very best to make this slogan come true:

An important goal of ours is conservation, preservation, and growing our sport. Please help us to keep the outdoors clean, practice catch and release, take care of your fish, and most importantly help to preserve and protect our waters - they are our most valuable resource.
